This sounds great. Please post or pm info. Does this mean I have a way to keep from locking my keys in trunk too? Only happened twice and I was in walking distance from the house but still a hassle.
Thanks

Yes the electric lock is installed on my 2010 model....i don't know about the earlier models.....you will need to get a female plug for the electrical connection, i got mine from a junk yard off a 2007 ford Fuson i, just make sure that you cut enough wire to work with....you will see 3 wires on the plug, but you only need 2 of them...the black is the ground and the green wire is the hot and you can install a momentary push button switch beside the interior switch in front....i do not use the interior switch hardly ever, so i just connected the lock to the trunk light, and i just use the interior light switch to unlock the trunk....
Hey it works...no more getting out and unlock the trunk, no more locking the keys in the trunk......hope this helps ......
