This winter I am planning on putting new rear pads and maybe rear rotors if needed. Ever since my 17 trike was new the rear brakes have been about useless in the rain, So I was thinking about cross drilling the rotors to see if it would help with water displacement. Not just picking up a hand drill and going at it but putting on a Bridgeport mill and using a rotary table to put them in precisely so it wouldn't affect the balance. Has anyone done this and if so, did it help with wet braking.

I just replaced all my 4 sets of pads with EBC double sintered pads. My bike only has 5000 miles but I want stopping power . The EBC grab so much better, I had tried them on my 14 and it helped tremendously. I only have tried them on a test drive last weekend after installing them. I could tell immediately it was better after seating them in. It was about a $200 ish upgrade. Well worth it imho.

I’m interested was thinking about doing my own

My rear brakes will not lock up, and e brake is useless. I’m looking at the drag specialities rotors and not sure on pads yet but was thinking ebc. R the ebc pad thicker then the Harley pads?
