Welcome bluey! Sorry to hear your maiden voyage was a bit tense, but I assure you it won't be long before you are enjoying the adventure. This link ( http://www.triketalk.com/forum/gener...post-here.html ) will give you some great advice, but ask any question you have and we'll be happy to help.

Re: dowm under

Welcome Bluey and ditto on the pic. That is my favorite avitar pic of the month.
By 800 Km you should start feeling more comfortable on the trike. And don't forget to completely forget about "counter-steering" from the 2-wheel world.

Re: dowm under

went for a little spin around the block this arvo and put those tips in to place

Bluey, welcome to the best and friendliest trike forum on the internet. My experience was the more i rode the more comfortable I got on my first trike. Pretty soon its as natural as riding a two wheeler. The trike become part of you or you become part of the trike. I am not sure which.

Mate, going through exactly the same thing here in NZ. Getting a mate to show me what to do, Baz from this site. Didn't help that I pranged on the way home the first time. Will get there, just got to push through the nerves. Went to the reference above too. Will read it tomorrow before I go for a ride. Happy Father's Day, presume it is the same there as in NZ. Ian.

Hi to ya Bluey!
Welcome aboard from fabulous Las Vegas! My 1st bit of advice and it's served me well from the kind soul that passed it on to me was.... DON'T PUT YOUR FEET DOWN! You can easily run over your own foot and that's got to be hella embarrasing!
Enjoy your ride and welcome!

Well, if you've got round-abouts, it won't take you long to get that steering sorted out just fine :D!!!
