Disconnecting fuel line from 019 tank

I know pretty simple I bet, but looking at a new fuel tank OEM on eBay that's about 1/2 price of having mine repainted. The HD box has an 019 date code so should be fine for my 019 Trglide. Mine is full of fuel now don't want to fiddle with it. Do the new factory tanks come with a metal "do be careful" that sticks out where one would attach the fuel line?

Is there some kind sender or pump inside the tank? Would this be just a plug and play ordeal? Or are there internal parts that would have to be swapped out? Sorry for all the questions, thanks.

As mentioned, the sender and pump are inside the tank.
I did a video replacing the check valve line, plus detailed info on replacing the fuel filter too.

On question for you 14TG, I purchased the new fuel tank. But of course it came with nothing inside which I realized my old items pump, hose assy etc get transferred. But how about the wiring harness that are in the tank that you disconnected from the fuel pump? How do they come from? Harley doesn't ship a new tank with any wiring or hoses inside a new tank, I'm confused how the wiring goes from the outside into the inside to power the fuel pump.
I'm planning on a trip in several weeks so I'm just going use my original setup for now, so I haven't yet torn into this yet. I hope my questions make sense, there's also the 2nd hose you disconnect from the pump where does that one go or come from?
Thanks for your time!

Hi @Arctic Fox!
I never dug any further into the remaining wiring or pump removal, other than shown in the video.
There may be other YouTube videos to show a more in depth and complete R&R to help you.
I’ll check later to see if I can find a link that’s more complete on 100% R &R (Remove & Replace) and let you know. 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks 14 for your reply, I guess once I start tearing into it I may see what's going on. I'm just hoping that I just didn't buy a new Harley tank that will only be good for a mantle display!
Here is a video that may help you…
it’s on a 2016 Road Glide but they show removal of a defective fuel pump. I hope it helps as there really are not too many videos on this.
