Last May we took a trip down route 66 from Tulsa to Kingmen az. we then went north to Death Valley and route the 161 miles trough Death Valley to Lone Pine California. It was a little hot but really a fun ride.

Thanks for the post..... and memories. I did that trip from here in Mesa in 2006 with a group that I rode with for many years. That group no longer exists. Almost all from our 2006 trip are riding together now in spirit. One of the highlights from that trip was visiting the Western Film Museum in Lone Pine. It had just opened and was still a work in progress. Hope you had a chance to visit..... Jim

Sure know how that is, most of the people that I rode with in the 80's and 90's have quit riding or passed on!
