Deadly Turn of Events

I am entering this under my Dad's login, because he is unable to. On Wednesday, May 19th, he was riding his Stallion on Hwy 28 above Walhalla, SC and apparently tried to take a sharp right hand curve in the foothills too fast and did not survive. His Stallion rolled up on its left side and skidded into the mountain side. I have driven up to the site and all that is on the road is white scrapes on the road from his white bodied Stallion; no tire marks at all. He had the Stallion for awhile, so he was not a new driver to it, and he has had other trikes in the past. A friend of his told me that the Stallion community may be interested to hear one rolled up on its side and that is why I am posting this. I do have pictures of the trike, and the site, if anyone is interested.

I believe that not just myself or even trikes but the whole cycle community would mourn the loss of your father ... You and yours have my strongest wishes and prayers for the days to come ... I did not know your father personally but knowing what I do of this community I believe that if pictures of the scene and the trike were available he might want to share them to let people know that while the vehicles are fairly safe, there is always a chance of the unexpected happening ... If it would possibly help someone else be more careful then I think it would be a good thing and he would appreciate that ...

Once again my condolences at your loss ...

Words cannot describe the sorrow I feel for you and your family. My most sincere condolences and prayers to you all! :(

Very sorry to read about your father. Our trike family will miss his being here. My wife and I have your father in our prayers. If you learn any more about the cause please post it.
