The D-Day memorial is 15 miles away from my house

I usually volunteer there every year.

This year I just did not have time

Thank you all for posting. There is nothing greater than giving ones life for a brother. They are all now at Peace with Our Eternal Father. I pray for all the loved ones they have left behind, as we remember, and Honor ALL their contributions.
 
Just think those that survived the June 6th landing , And if this was 1944, Right now they would be fighting their way inland in the face of heavy enemy fire....And to some the Ultimate Sacrifice.......
