CSC Goldwing Trike

The wife and I just got back from Biketoberfest in Daytona and took a demo ride on a 2012 Goldwing trike with the CSC kit and we were very impressed
with everything about it. What are the thoughts from anyone about this trike kit (pros and cons). We will be in the market sometime next year and we are doing our research and homework before we buy.
Thanks for any advise or thoughts.

I have the CSC Daytona on my Harley. I love the longer wheelbase, which gives a smooth ride, especially with the IRS. I also have the rake kit, which makes steering easier. The fit and finish of the kit are impressive, and I have had no quibbles at all. Make sure you are comfortable with your installer, as they can make all the difference in the final product, no matter how good the kit.

I will also join this club. I have a 2012 Goldwing with a CSC kit. I LOVE it! Lots of room in the trunk. IRS, rides great. 6 degree rake. Perfect. It's worth it, if you can do it. I plan on keeping mine forever and a day. :) :)

We love our 05 CSC !

I know of some people that have had driveshaft, wheel, and brake problems all which were taken care of by CSC.On some of these the waranty had been used up for awhile.Their coustomer service seems to be great. No matter what kit ya'll decide on pick an installer you trust.Ride as many as you can.Good luck.RIDE SAFE

I want to thank everyone for the comments and the info, we will
do some more looking and riding but for now we are leaning towards the
CSC Goldwing and that will more than likely be our choice of trikes.

Thanks,
Toby :Coffee:

Like someone said earlier,,, the installer is the key. I recently converted an 2004 Wing to a CSC kit and love it.

After having a bad experience with a trike purchase, I learned a lot about trikes, the hard way. I recently purchased a new 2012 Gl1800 CSC VIPER. After only 500 miles I can't say enough good things about the CSC. There are other great choices out there, everyone's taste will vary in several areas. Here is why I purchased the CSC after lots more research.

They have their own rear end unit designed and built by CSC (some kits use salvage yard rear end housings with new car parts installed)
A new 1 piece drive shaft built by CSC
A very sporty ride, handles excellent, like a BMW car yet not harsh at all.
The looks complement the 2012 GL1800 very well, nice job on the Viper kit.
Performance brakes, slotted rotors, bassini exhaust
Feels like one unit, not like you are pulling something
The design of the IRS system, based on Indy Car Technology.
3 point suspension and internal swing arm
The storage in the rear trunk, accessibility and easy of opening and closing
A company 30 years in business, Lots of Engineering behind their designs...
Intergrated linked brakes for the GL1800
Quality of the overall kit, perfect paint match, no imperfections
The installer was very very important too me!
I purchased from a large franchised dealer that will stand behind the complete unit, bike and kit if issues had to be addressed.
The builder was Paul at Misty Mountain Trikes, he built the trike for Abernathy's Honda in Union City TN.
Please take your time, ride several, research builders don't take someones word. I bought a finished product instead of buying the bike and having it converted, this way you can examine it, ride it and so forth. Like I said the installer is critical...
