Stupid question....did you try the reverse motor reset switch?

Ditto on that. Mine did it the first time I tried to back up an incline. The procedure to reset the breaker is in the owners manual for my 2011 FLHXXX and my previous trike (09 TG). Woulda been the first thing I checked.
Same question came to my mind. Some times they kick off just because of the sudden surge.

Yes mine did that a few days ago, mind you I had the park brake on,:AGGHH: always a first time, quick reset and I was away, :)

got the phone call today the reverse motor bad 5 working days to get one from Harley so looking at next week before i get it back

That sucks! I'm thinking maybe you could just Flintstone it out of the garage? I'm pretty new to this reverse thing but I've used mine twice in 6 months of ownership and those were just to see how it worked. I will admit that if it's there I want it to work!

I have gotten spoiled with mine...

Yep, it's nice to have. Still getting forgetting the Parking Break, who would of thought a Motorcycle would have one.

I put an old fashioned bicycle bell on mine and when I go into reverse I ring it - - - puts a huge smile on everyone.
I once had to back up about 100' on an expressway once - never had a problem with the reverse on my 2012. Hope the one on the 2014 is just as reliable.

Ahhhhh! These discussions surely make me appreciate my Baker 6 sp w/ reverse. I still wonder why HD can't design something similar into the TriGlides.

Love when it's covered under warranty! My battery went dead and it was covered also. Always keep my on a battery tender! My Road King battery lasted 5 years, told that was very unusual. :pepper:

First time I tried to back out of the garage the breaker popped. Couldn't reset, had to get new breaker. About the parking break, I quit using it. Cost to much for new break pads for leaving it on and readjusting it all the time. Use front break lever and velcro strap.
