Convertible Stallion

I was down at Trike Toys on Boulder Hwy in Henderson, NV yesterday. I told the owner that I was just looking around for info on when the Stallion might be produced again --- he had no idea. :gah: He took me out back to see a red Stallion being readied for shipment to HI. It had 9,000 miles on it.

What was so interesting was that it had their top installed. I like it. :wtg: It sort made the Stallion look like a red convertible sports car. I think the Trike Toys owner said it was $3,500 and handmade. The top had no sides, just the top black textile material with the steel black frame. They make these tops on special order.

I second John's request for a picture.....
I think I had seen a picture of this a while ago, but I always said.... Why???

My sentiments exactly... Changing it to look more like a cage style of vehicle, even though there's no doors, sort of defeats the purpose and the Stallion, which starts to loose its identity as a "trike", IMHO. Then there's the issue whether some states will still accept its registration as a motorcycle. Here in SD, as long has it has less than 4 wheels, it's classified/registered as a motorcycle, top or no top.
