Hello all, I am new here and will be new to triking come spring. Having ridden 2 wheelers for years, I struggled with the idea of triking. Due to an accident it has become clear to me this is what I needed to do to continue riding.
Today the local Honda shop will start installing a Road Smith trike conversion on my 03 1800 VTX. I am looking forward to this new adventure.

Welcome to TrikeTalk! I know other reasons have brought you to triking, but you are soon going to be completely converted and encouraging others to do the same! Roadsmith makes for a wonderful, comfortable ride :D. I hope you are getting the front end raked, as that will make the steering a pleasure! That would be a #1 priority to me!

Take a little time to read this thread, as it is chock full of pointers and help for new trikers: http://www.triketalk.com/forum/general-forum/242-experianced-trike-riders-please-post-here.html

Again, welcome to the family!

Welcome to TrikeTalk, you will find a great deal of information on here, plus a great group of people... It will take you a little while to adjust to the trike, usually about 500 miles or so... U have selected a great kit and will enjoy it.
Keep us informed on how things are going and U already know we love pictures...
Ride safe and enjoy...

Welcome aboard. Congrats on the build. Bet you can't wait until spring.

I stopped by the Honda shop to see if things are actually started, well lets just say the bike is there, and the kit is there but not out of the crate yet. Its still exciting seeing it there. I felt like a kid at Christmas peeking at my "presents"
