connection in trunk - Left side?

While cleaning out my trunk today, I found a connector that was in a bundle on the left side. It was unpligged from somewhere. Not sure if it needs plugged in or not. It came with the bundle for the left tail lights.

Any help for this?

is all your lights working , tail, brake, backup , tag lights and what color is the plug

This plug is black and comes off one of the wire bundle in there. Looks to be a 2 or 3 contact plug.

I will check the lights some time today.

Checked again today and it is a single contact black plug. Still can't see where it would go.

Wire colors are black with yellow stripe and Yellow with red stripe. #733

Update: This is an extra wire and it doesn't connect to anything.
