Is anyone running the Cobra Fi2000R fuel injection tuner on their trike? If so how is it working for you and what has it done for your trike? I have a 2005 Ultra/Lehman with an 88" motor that is completely stock, what results should I expect? I would like more power and cooler running. Thanks in advance for your help.

What I understand is that the more simple fuel tuners, like the Cobra unit and the Fuel-Pak, have limited capabilities. This is okay for someone doing a basic tune for intake, exhaust and maybe a mild cam. I have used Fuel-Paks on several HD's configured this way and found them very easy to tune with satisfactory results.
However, for my last 2 HD's I choose to install the PC V units which offer awesome, wide range tuning parameters and are suitable for upgrade to an auto-tune mode with wide-band O2 sensors. I am extremely happy with the new PC V units and if I make further changes to my engine later on I always have the option to custom tune the PC to match my new upgrades.
My most recent PC V install is on my 2011 Tri-glide which has an SE intake, a gutted head pipe and a set of 4" RC mufflers. This trike, in stock configuration, was anemic in power delivery and had a nasty tendency to ping at highway speeds under light load. Now, it truly operates like a different engine, with strong pulling power from 1st thru 6th gear with not a ping to be heard.
Whatever you decide, do your research cause they all have their pro's and con's.
Good luck.

Thanks Rich. I don't get e mail notification when a post is made to one of my subscribed threads and I had not checked this one out since you posted.

I installed the Cobra on my 2007 flhtc trike and do notice a slight difference in performance but not a awful lot. I did notice I got better gas mileage and that was a plus but I don't think it helped much with the cooling. if I had to do it again I would spend the money on engine performance like cams, etc. etc.
