Cobra 2000

Has anyone used the FI2000 tuner by Cobra with the Cat removed and used the Cycle Shack 2in1in2 replacement head pipe on a 2112 HD Triglide.

I have a similar configuration with the addition of a Power Vision tuner. At an altitude of 1,400 feet, I can go 130 miles at 80 mph on a six gallon tank of gas. At 4,000-6,000 feet, I can go up to 210 miles. I'm not very happy and am considering a different tuner or ECM replacement.

Not familiar with your tuner. Do you have the cycle shack 2-1-2 head pipe on your ride that does not have the cat. I am told that the Cobra FI2000 is one of the few tuners that works well without having dyno tuned. I know the HD dealers here always recommend the HD products and to use non HD tuner is a sin with them.

I have the Cobra, a Big Sucker stage 2, SE Fat Shotz, and a cat free stock pipe and it made a huge difference. It sounds better and I could really feel the difference.

I have had the cobra 2000 on my stock 2007 trike for almost a year now and get real good gas mileage in Fl. where I live in the winter and in Pa. in the summer. in FL. I can get about 40-45 mpg easily and in Pa. I get about 40 mpg
