Is it just me or is this white instead of clear. I sprayed five or six coats of clear PlastiDip waiting half hour between coats. Then I did the same with the glossifier. Any hope that it will get from white to clear?

Don't know much about clear types, but on the positive side you should be able to peel it off if it doesn't suit your fancy.
I'd wait overnight if you just sprayed it today before giving up on it?

That's kind of my thoughts too.

I had the clear shield put on my tri glide. If it goes bad, can be removed and new reapplied. If you do not know it is there, it is almost invisible. Jim

Not being ugly, but is 30 minutes between coats what the instructions called for?

If so, then I suspect you live in a high humidity environment and that moisture is the problem. Give it time to dry out and see if that clears it up. If not, still should peel off and redo.

WAS it real humid when you did it ? clear coats will blush like that if its real humid out , sometimes it goes away over night ?

Yes it was extremely humid. It was my one day off so I went for it. I thank you guys for catching that. I'll wait until it's not so humid when I redo it.

Checked the directions when I got home today and sure enough it did say half hour between coats. I'm thinking the humidity is the problem like suggested. Oh and the stuff is still a nasty shade of white. Live and learn I suppose.

BUMMER ! I was hoping it would dry out and clear up.... I'm sure you want it done but just maybe a little more time would let it cure out.. :xszpv::xszpv:

I'm going to give it some more time like you said. I don't really have time to redo it now anyway and the forecast is like hell hot anyway. On a good note, she's still a blast to ride.

When I was checking out Plasti-Dip I seem to remember reading on one of the car blogs or maybe even www.dipyourcar.com/ that the glossifier shouldn't be put on in too many coats, or it will come out opaque. I used the glossifier on my saddlebag lids that I had dipped black, and it did come out glossier, but not a high shine, after 2 coats. I also didn't like that the glossifier seemed to stay tacky no matter how long I set it sit.
