Leave off the highway bars and just go with the HW pegs.

do you use hwy pegs ?-----do they let your legs strech out to comfortable ?
the plus i was seeing with the highway bars was the ability to put cover skirts on them for protection from weather and to keep bugs off rear fenders ?

FYI make sure your side covers are fastened securely mine blew off when I rode that way . I think it causes extra turbulence . It cost me $300.00

when you rode how ? with legs forward on hwypegs or highway bars with covers ?

No, don't have any right now. "Working" on them. Good idea about the covers on the them, but I'd loose more MPG. :yes:
