Woo, hoo! It hit 50'F today. Not that I can tell from the amount of snow in my yard. So warm, I decided to wash the trike before heading for western PA well before the crack of dawn.
Leo, I notice the warm front waited for you to leave before arriving. Must have been scared of you.

Packed it in early in Virginia. Washed my baby and put her to bed. It was a fun day. :)

Glad you"re making progress towards warmer weather. Have fun... ThumbUp

Looks like 50ish again tomorrow for our area. Maybe there's still hope that Spring is out there someplace... :D

Have a nice ride to Pa... ThumbUp

Leo, what route were you taking? That's not too far from me. yes, it was a gorgeous, warm day today.

Took I-81S to I-66E to Route 17S to I-95S, big mistake. Route 17 in Fredericksburg has lots of congestion and construction. I-95S north of Roanoke is a mess. Should have stayed on I-81S to I-64E to I-95S. Will back track that way.

WOW Leo, great progress in your travels. Thank You very much for the picture..
Be safe and have a great time.
Bozo, how are you making out on your cross country travels to work?

Leo, if you are on I-95s north of Roanoke, its not the road that is a mess, its your GPS. Personally, I like the Chesapeake bridge/tunnels to get around that whole mess of I-95.

Was trying to stay away from the Garden State Parkway, ferry, bridge tolls, etc. I'm very comfortable with I-81. My mistake was not staying on I-81 until I-64, which bypasses the bad stuff. The cold and fear of salt conditions clouded my mind.

Leo- I think what Bikerbozo was implying is that I-95S does not go through Roanoke. I believe you meant Richmond, right?

Well, the Temps in the 60s are nice, but the Snow/Ice has been replaced with Pouring Rain....oh well, my Honda Forza is at the Local Honda Dealer getting It's recalled Fuel Pump replaced anyway...Good Tuesday Morning TRIKE TALK.....ThumbUp

Leo, I was wondering about the Roanoke thing too, but thought you meant Roanoke Rapids. I was wondering because where you pulled off for the picture. Surely, you weren't on 95, were you? If you were, you sure are brave..
Never mind, I bet it was at the Welcome Center. DUH!!!

I was on 95. Put my hand up to ongoing traffic, and stepped out into right lane. :D

Good morning folks! Riding into 82* at St. George, SC today. Oh baby! :pepper: Have a great day!

Met bikers Leon and Joe from NY at filling station this morning. Rode with them all day. They are also going to Daytona and Key West, so we may meet again. At motel in South Carolina waiting for Joe and Steve. Reserved the adjacent room for them. Went from winter to instant summer. Air conditioning is running steady. LOL!

Leo, I may be wrong, but it looks like you are at South of the Border Truck Stop above Dillon, SC

Welcome to South Carolina, Be Safe!!!

Danny

Danny, You are correct! Thanks! Funny, the two bikers I met were taking all these pics with "Restroom" in the background. Had a nice day!

Overnighting at St. George, SC. Two riding buddies arrived and are in the next room. We went out for steak dinners. Tomorrow we head for Daytona, FL. We have room reservations at Cocoa Beach, FL. Planning to see a launch on Thursday.

Evening all. Hey, Leo. Good luck catching the launch. I always miss them when in area.
I had a nice 410 mile ride out to Western PA Monday and now setting up a new design machine and trying to teach old dogs new tricks. Off course the rain showed up while I was working. Had my rain gear inside with me all ready. The Salesman took me out to a nice dinner. Even picked me up at hotel. Reminded me of meeting at a job years ago with snow on the ground and my 2-wheeler parked outside.
