7 degrees....wind chill -13 degees Rosy......I've had better.......:laugh:...rode my Mountain Bike on the packed, crunchy frozen snow for about 45 minutes this morning, but kept having to stop and twist the chain to free it up. The wind chill kept making it freeze over and lock the links up.....!!!!!!!!

It is not pleasant in Florida this morning, and will be worse tomorrow. /Gotta tell you, this weather sucks, I'm looking for Global Warming. Where is Al Gore, I need reassurance.
Hi Bill - you think that sucks - the "beautiful & sunny Jersey Shore" has soared up to 20 deg right now, but overnite tonite supposed to be 4 deg. Now THAT sucks... :laugh:
At least the roads are dry for my daily 320 miles, including the 80 mi r/t commute. (none of which is by trike this time of year)...

Leo - we're hope the weather warms up for your trip in the next couple weeks. Barbara just cheered us up by reminding me that "it always snows near my birthday" - and that isn't until the end of march. Bummer!

Thanks Warren! Once I escape this tundra, don't care if it snows. I'll just drag my feet getting home. Still need to do work on our vehicles before I leave. Hope to get a couple mild days. Right now, our trike is snow locked in the shed. Need to remove snow bank blocking our back yard and remove some of the snow in our back yard. Fun! Fun!

Morning all. Insomnia sucks. Flew down to NC Wed for business, and to escape the cold. Got single digits and a mini blizzard. Continued South. About 1 hr South of Atlanta now. At least its double digits. Hopefully weather doesn't stop me from getting home late Fri. I'm sure the bright phone isn't keeping me up!
Worked most of yesterday and caught a late flight home. It was snowing when I walked into Atlanta terminal. Didn't make it home until midnight. My office figured I wad so warm down South this week, I am heading up to Burlington, VT on Monday. Supposed to have a low of -9'F that day.
Good day folks! Safe travels Andrew! Started digging trike out today. Temps supposed to be in high 40's tomorrow. Have lots planned. :clapping:
Rosy, Had two digging sessions today. Fresh snow is adding to my work. Still large pile blocking our back yard. Hope to take advantage of mild weather tomorrow to work on trike. It will be nice to escape in a couple weeks. Enjoy your vacation!

Rosy, Could not use our snow blower because pile was mostly ice and yard was ice crusted. Now that back yard is clean, we can use our snow blower. Glad Jeannette helped me with the pile. It was quite a workout.
Well, it did get above freezing today for the afternoon. Supposed to be 9'F in morning. Of course, its supposed to be -9'F where I am flying to. For our overseas trikers, -9'F=way to freaking cold 'C.

Hi y'all! We had such a great ride today with the "snow bird" group (See Rosy's sideways pictures in the snow bird gathering thread). The weather was perfect, the meal was absolutely fantastic, and the company was the best. Rosy, you didn't mention feeding the two baby raccoons your girl scout cookies…..
Morning all. Did I mention the airline temporarily lost my bag yesterday? With my extra sweatshirt/gloves? When it was -3'F? Luckily it showed up at hotel in time for the current -16'F temp outside. Unfortunately, too late for my tools to arrive.
Bozo, we will be joining you in the cold tundra in the near future. Heading home soon, had a Great time in Florida at the Snowbird Gathering!
