Chat Room

Hello great people, today and this week has been very busy. With the 13th anniversary of the attack on American soil, we had our two pieces of steel from the WTC on display, and at 8:45 held a moment of silence and prayers. This Saturday we are also having a Tribute ride, a scenic route of 111 miles and a meal at the end. All the proceeds will go towards a building fund to house the steel and educate kids. If anyone is in our area, all vehicles are welcome, please help us out. Thanks.

Hey Leo, apparently you didn't get the rains. We did and they found out it washed part of a retaining wall out which houses railroad tracks. The freight trains are on hold till they shore it up.
Mother Nature is on the rampage everywhere.

Rosy

Hi Rosy, We left the Phoenix/Tucson area just before the heavy rains fell. In LA, we got a little misting one day. Other than that, we pretty much had sunshine for the entire trip. In Barstow, CA right now... Heading for Cedar City, UT today. Best wishes!

Leo, is that a picture of a Southwestern motel? Did it have running water? LOL
It looks like an old Indian hut which was used in their travels. Very interesting, to say the least!
So, what was the delay, roads washed out, just like it happened in Vermont when they got those heavy rains.
Heard from Bruce and Deb, they are at 39F this morning, in upper NY! WOW
One of the Dakotas got snow, already!
Have a great time Leo and Jeannette, be safe!

Rosy, Beehive rock formation is in Valley of Fire SP, NV. We were detoured through the park because parts of I-15 east of Vegas were washed out. Biker told us I-15 reopened today. We saw some foliage changes in upstate Utah. Expect to see more color in the Colorado mountains. We are at Grand Junction, CO tonight. We fly out of Denver on Monday. Toying with the idea of driving up through Rocky Mountain NP tomorrow. It's been a great three weeks, but we are ready to return home. :)
