Skuuter it finally got busy by 7:00 this evening. Motel is nearly full and meet some fellow trikers from southern Ohio, Kentucky, & Tenn. They're drinking some strange smellin stuff from a mason jar.

Same forecast here Sully...I also hope they are wrong.

Afternoon all. Took a 1/2 day. Just back from kayaking. Now a Doc checkup, then off to softball. With any luck, trike back later today or in morning. I have zero confidence level of problem being found. Its going to be a case of riding 'till issue happens then ride straight to shop.

Tried to ride the Cherohala today. Visibility went to zero and we turned back. Cold and wet was the order of the day, so we rode the Blue Ridge below the fog line. Looks like a repeat for tomorrow. This is shaping up to be the lowest mileage four day weekend we've had in a long time.

Look up Shady Maple Smorgasbord, Rte. 322 and rte.897, East Earl, Pa. got over 100 ft. of food. you could go up 5 times and get 5 different plates of food. price is tip and tax included http://www.shady-maple.com/smorgasbord/daily-menu-pricing

Left MV and headed west this morning, finally rode out of the rain at Robinsville. Crossed over the Cherohala in the fog. Anything above 3500' was around 100' visibility, so the sight seeing was not so good. Traveled some new roads, met some really nice folks when ever we stopped. Headed back to the motel about 5:00 and caught up to the rain again in Cherokee.
Packed up and ready to ride north in the morning.
For those of you who were at the 2012 Rally, the mountains on the opposite side of the Best Western Motel are completely fogged in. Looks more like the white ridge mountains.

Well, the good news is problems with my trike finally seen in shop. Now they are tracking exactly what is going on. They believe one coil has problem (heat related). And they also caught charging not working right. May also be something with new lithium battery. At least this shop can do warranty and play nice with HD. Should be enough time to work it all out before NETT rally.

Good news, BB. At least the problem showed up when they were looking. Nothing worse than trying to "demo" a problem and it works great for them - then does it again for you on the way home...

See you in Vt. ThumbUp

Oops. Slacking off. Didn't realize whatever my last post was was #3000. This one would be #3001. No wonder my thumbs are tired.

Loaded the Stallion in the new toyhauler today, it fit! Nice to know I measured right. The LED lights a really sharp, I've never had them in any RV, what a difference they make. Looking forward to seeing last years friends, and meeting some new members attending this years New England Rally.
