Good morning all! Looks like another sunny day on tap for East China! A little fog up in Port Huron. Should burn off in a few hours.
Have a great start to your weekend!

Go Soxs! Boston, World Champs 2013!

Morning all. A balmy 61'F here now. Forcast changed to dry. So I should be able to get a ride down to HD to get radio removed.

Did your doctor say it was OK, to be in contact with other people because you could get other germs introduced into your body? Or did you even asked?
Bozo, think about it.

Hey Nana,

When are you going to update your photo album with pictures of your new Trike?? Your fans all want to know, lol. ;)

East side, easy ride to Daytona from where we are. In fact, after lunch we are going to ride over there this afternoon. :)
We are going to be flying in to Orlando in a couple of weeks ad staying at The Villages, about 1 1/2 hours from Orlando going west to the middle of the state.
So, close, yet worlds part!
Have a great stay and be safe.

Mike and I rode down to Daytona on Hwy. 1 this afternoon, enjoying the perfect day! Below is a photo of Mike Corbin with me in the Corbin shop. Biketoberfest doesn't start until next Thursday, but the factory seat wizards and Mr. Corbin are already in town today with their truck full of supplies for the rally. They were so nice!

I'm looking for a short person's seat with a driver's backrest, and it is very hard to find. Corbin makes one of the few, however not all aftermarket seats will fit properly with all of the trike bodies. I wanted to make sure theirs would fit before I ordered it.... it doesn't!

But no worries! Gustavo, fresh in from California, pulled out an '08 Softail seat, and it was a perfect fit! Then he had me sit on the trike and took careful measurements, called California with instructions, and told me they were custom building an '08 seat for me with the position and backrest pushed 2-1/2 inches forward to fit me perfectly! He is having them make it NOW, and ship it to him at Daytona Corbin on Monday morning. He will call me to ride down, fit it onto the trike, make any adjustment needed, and IF I like it, THEN I will pay for it and ride home. All for no more than the actual cost of the stock seat less the rally discount of 10%.

I have no idea if they would be able to do this during the busy bike rally, but with extra time today he went to a lot of trouble for me, and I surely do appreciate it! Mike Corbin wandered out to the shop during all of this and chatted comfortably with Mike and I. I commended his crew and explained what they had done -- he said that is exactly what he expects of them, and he is very happy to hear that they were taking good care of me.

Then a leisurely ride back up A1A with a stop for dinner overlooking the ocean. Ahhhhhh.... a wonderful day!

I still can't load pics into the garage -- that should clear up when the server upgrade is complete -- but I long since opened an album of it on my profile page. Go there and take a look :)

Good cloudy morning riders. High today near 60 and partly Sunny. It's 48 right now here and breezy. Didn;t get to bed till around 3 am. Watching some old movie's on tv last night with Clark Gable. Then had my nose stuck in the dennis Kirk catalog till my eyes wouldn't stay open any more. I'm still on my mission to make this Electra Glide look like a street glide. Talked to a friend of mine in Garden City Mi last night. He's thinking seriously now of converting his bike into a trike. Him and another old friend of mine are going to install it in his shop at home. Depends on how that goes. Then I'll be doing mine also. Even thou I like the two wheels. I think I'll LOVE the 3rd wheel even more ThumbUp. Trying to nail down the co$t of having the kit shipped here. Might not be able to do it before we leave for the winter. If not not in the Spring next yr for sure. ok :Coffee:time. NANA : I don't know how you do it so early. You must go to sleep with the chickens to be up so early :D me I'm more of a night owl. Speaking of that. My next door neighbor & his wife rolled in around 3 am on their Harley last night :D

Oooooohhhhh, the Sandwich Fair. I used to love going up to that. Had relatives of a friend who lived up the road. Haven't been up there for it in years. Take plenty of pics. My friend would love to see them.

Come to Texas. We'll be in the low 90s this afternoon.

Watching my Longhorns whupping the Oklahoma Sooners for the first time in a number of years! Barring any big surprises, it's over in the 3rd quarter. I loooooooove college football!

Going to see the movie "Captain Phillips" tonight. I won't spoil it by telling y'all how it ends..... ;)

Just remembered a short funny story.I was riding up to Sandwich Fair a couple decades ago on my first street legal bike. A Suzuki 2-stroke 250cc enduro bike. I was riding while friends drove. It was cold out and I couldn't afford leather, so I was wearing a bright orange 1-piece insulated suit. Now, every time I had worked on this bike, I was painting the parts different colors. I'm sitting on side of road at entrance to MA pike at I-84 waiting for my friends to catch up. I was listening to truckers on a kids walkie talky that I had converted to CB ch 19 (was to call friend when in range in his car. We all still had CB's then). The truckers were having a good laugh at what I looked like on the side there, not realizing I could hear and respond. So, I was able to laugh with them (yes, I did look clownish. But I was warm).

Mornin Everyone! Looks like a fall day here, mid 60's for a high. getting ready to head out to a club meeting, then off on a 100 mile mystery ride, no idea what the destination is yet, then home to celebrate Sherry's birthday. Happy Birthday Sherry!!!
