Come to Texas. We'll be in the low 90s this afternoon.
Watching my Longhorns whupping the Oklahoma Sooners for the first time in a number of years! Barring any big surprises, it's over in the 3rd quarter. I loooooooove college football!
Just remembered a short funny story.I was riding up to Sandwich Fair a couple decades ago on my first street legal bike. A Suzuki 2-stroke 250cc enduro bike. I was riding while friends drove. It was cold out and I couldn't afford leather, so I was wearing a bright orange 1-piece insulated suit. Now, every time I had worked on this bike, I was painting the parts different colors. I'm sitting on side of road at entrance to MA pike at I-84 waiting for my friends to catch up. I was listening to truckers on a kids walkie talky that I had converted to CB ch 19 (was to call friend when in range in his car. We all still had CB's then). The truckers were having a good laugh at what I looked like on the side there, not realizing I could hear and respond. So, I was able to laugh with them (yes, I did look clownish. But I was warm).Oooooohhhhh, the Sandwich Fair. I used to love going up to that. Had relatives of a friend who lived up the road. Haven't been up there for it in years. Take plenty of pics.
