Rosy, I so miss the Lobster Rolls. We have a second home in Biddeford Pool, but haven't been able to go this year. We always stop in Biddeford on our way to the pool for lobster rolls first thing when we arrive in Maine. Where are those that you had? Also, were those clams I see? I LOVE New England clams......

Leo-skuuter, here is a picture of the lobster roll from Red's! It is worth the day trip up there. Janice loves their lobster rolls. She says they are the best!

Rosy - Your killin' me. I've been past Red's many times with a bus load of folks going to Booth Bay Harbor and elsewhere... Never past Red's when there wasn't a line of people waiting to be served. Tough to stop there with a 45' tour bus... :D

Also, a few miles outside Booth Bay Harbor, where the road make a sharp tun to the left, the is a small, town park where the "fish lady" is located. She used to work out of a "lunch type trailer", but then converted to a "fixed" shack. Unbelievable fish sandwiches. If you're only getting for yourself, be sure to only order the "half" sandwich... ThumbUp

The lobster roll is from Red's in Wiscasset, Maine and those are onion rings in a light batter. Lobsters are in my wife's family tradition, back in the days they would have a lobster feed and she would eat at least three. Nothing else was served, just lobsters and drawn butter.
At Red's you will get over a pound of lobster in the roll..just lobster meat, no lettuce, mayo, nothing but lobster.
Warren, next time you are in a bus tour and you get close to Red's, hyjack the bus driver and make him stop! LOL
They will serve over 10 tons of just lobster meat out of this little shack! That's a lot of lobster! They have a company cook, shell, and deliver the lobster meat for them.

Morning all. Went for a nice ride Thursday morning to Orthopedist with intent of asking if I could go back to work travel. He looked at what I thought was healing puncture wound from my accident in Aug. Seems its infected. Sent me straight to ER. CAT scan shows infection in bone. First operation was on Friday. Apparently it is so deep that I will be here for next week. Another operation on Monday. Zero pain and leg works fine. I plan on being able to ride as soon as I am out. At least in dry weather. Will have port for intravenous antibiotics at home.
On the plus side. New wireless in St. Charles hospital overlooking Port Jeff harbor and leaves just starting to change here. Just happened to pack the charger when I swapped for my truck so I can keep smart phone in action.

BOZO: Be very careful with infections. they can do a body GREAT HARM ! We want to see you around and on here oftenThumbUp. It's 1:00 am Saturday morning. 54 degrees and Thunderstorms all around us now. Time to hit the hay. Been a long day here.

Well, Mitzie's Oldest Brother passed away earlier this year, Mitzie is changing jobs next week, and yesterday, Mitzie's Mom passed away unexpectedly.....Please remember Her and Her Family in Your Prayers...it is a very hectic time right now....Thanks, skuuter....

Bozo, you better take care of yourself..WOW..Infections are nothing to fool around with. Are you having a visiting nurse come in and give you your antibiotics or are you going to plug in yourself in?
Be Careful!!!
I am sure you will be heading back for calibrations in Maine again when you are healthy, just let us know and we will be there, if we are in NH.
Take care and give our best to Diane.

Rosy, I will be plugging in drugs myself. Done it before. Visiting nurse will be coming by to check I am not to much of a clown.

Bozo, you'd better take good care and obey doctor's orders! We want you around d for a longtime, and I don't want tohavetocome up and help your wife kick your butt!

Mornin everyone,,,. :Coffee:

Just returned from my monthly (1st Saturday of every month) 'Cars & Coffee' car club Cruise-In at the Charlottesville Coffee House. Love this monthly event! Antique and even some modern customized cars of all kinds gather between 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM for a great get together, conversations and of course, coffee. I'm going to bring the Trike next month. ThumbUp

And Bozo,,,. Take care of yourself and follow the doctor's orders! Here's to a speedy and complete recovery!

Docs just left room. Prognosis good. They have me pumped up with enough different antibiotics to cure even the common cold. Went from a 2" wound to a 1' length to take out all the crap. Lets just say my leg looks like out of a zombie movie. Pics available on request. The silly doc though I would want to close my eyes.
Then physical therapy people came in with a walker. Told them I had already been walking around fine on leg. Proved it in hallway. They couldn't keep up. Sent them on their merry way.

Don't push it, Bozo! Take your time and let it heal properly.

Checking in here. Are there any Arborist out there? My leaves are changing colors and falling off my trees, here in southern ohio. I was hoping someone could tell me why?

CCrider, trees are like us, when we get old we lose our hair, so trees get old once a year at about this time and lose their leafs. If you believe that one, I have a bridge I would like to sell to you in NYC! LOL
Have you heard of fall? If not, buy a Farmer's Almanac and it will explain it in great detail, when it starts to get cold and frost hits the leafs, saps stops running and all rest of that. Nature is very funny in this way! Mother Nature loves to put on a show, in the spring and fall for all of us to enjoy!
So, let me know what you find out!
Hope your day goes well and safe.

Rosy, as long as you aren't trying to sell the Brooklyn bridge. I own that one. You can have the RFK bridge (formally Tri-Borough). Can't stand that one. Toll pass never works right on bikes and nasty cops to scowl at you for it.
Now my evil plan for leaves. My neighbors rake them up and then I wait for the wind to blow my leaves over to them. Bwah, ha, ha!!!!:qpnmt:

Bozo, I don't think I would like you for a neighbor, to much clowning around going on! I never rake my leafs, I mulch them with my rider to provide for next years growth.
My poor neighbor rakes...and rakes...and rakes, to much work! Sit and mulch, let the tractor do the work!
Hope you are doing better, Bozo.
Off to a church bean and hot dog supper in West Kennebunk, Maine. Yum..Yum! Home made desserts, just like my grandmother use to bake!

Slept too long and missed out! Skuuter, we will keep Mitzi and you foremost in our thoughts and prayers. Bozo, quit clowning and heal up. I'm still limping from a year ago; don't do the same! CC, you're not too old to remember 'autumn'? Leaves fall in autumn. Rosy, you've been talking to John about the'no rake' theories. Mowed em for years, lawn is pretty. And please tell Janice our hibiscus are going nuts with buds!

Starting to cool a bit, but no colors showing up around here, maybe in January!

Love all of you, stay well, be happy..
