Chat Room

It's real foggy this morning Archie. Bandit and I were just discussing the possibility of the canyon being fogged in and what kind of pictures we would be able to take.
Talking with a couple from Canada this morning, they are paying over five bucks for gas.
This little town kinda reminds you of Maggie Valley. Lot of bikes on the road and friendly community. If anyone travels through here, the West Gate Inn is a great place to stay. Book it early, only fourty rooms.

As the fog burns off you'll get some great, misty pictures! Jealous.

Morning everybody. Rain is here & it's breezy also. Last night before bed ( 1:30 am) it was 75 degree. Now it;s 68 ! Speaking of GAS. Around here gas is $ 3:16 a gal ThumbUp, It just might go under $ 3:00 a gal. Yahoooo. Stayed up late after taking my wife for a ride on the Harley. Was talking to my friend next door. While he changed fluids on his Harley. Had some interesting stories to tell between the both of us :Coffee:. Today is going to be spent looking for some New Motorcycle boots. I love H &H Boots. Feel like slippers to me. Love them & they seem to never wear out. BUT at $ 180.00 a pr. I'm not so sure any more :(.. Ok coffee is ready and so am I. Make some memories today ThumbUp

Warming up to 70's here on LI today. Me and the missus will take TG to track later for last visit this year. Demo derby finals, figure 8's and some other stuff. Supposed to be in 50's by the time we head home.

Top of the morning to y'all, 78degree & something wet is falling from sky. Not supposed to get out of 80s today. Local lake is only 21 ft low. We made trip to Mt Magizine Ark last Friday and it rained on us all the way, made for cool temps. Had a great time at BBB rally. Ride safe & have fun.

Well somehow we survived the canyon pretty pictures no fog. Made it to Gettysburg bright sun nice day rode in a horse carriage this evening and gonna goto the battle field in the morning. Of course Kw always keeps us guessing what is coming next so far having a great time!!!!

Fog cleared as we got close to the canyon. Beautiful ride and the canyon is equally impressive with the fall colors coming on.
Made it to Gettysburg by 4:00 and took a carriage ride around historic downtown. Felt good to not be going 70 in lots of traffic for a spell.
Going back tomorrow to the battlefield park. PA has some great scenery and all the roads we've traveled have been good.

It sounds like you all are having a wonderful trip. So happy the fog lifted so you could enjoy the beautiful canyon. And here is a picture KW sent me of OlBandit and Sherry having a great time on that carriage ride......

Time to get on the road, Veronica! Sorry about missing the horse's behind with the picture. LOL! 55 here now and a high of 71 today. You should have a good day on the battlefield.

Mornin' everyone :D

42 here, no fog & 73 later. Think we may go to Culps Hill Battlefield first, or not. We stayed 20 miles north of town, any closer and the rooms were either all filled or too pricy.

Good morning all! Another beautiful red sunrise, and you know what that means? Red sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky at morning sailor take warning.
East China Mi.

Good Sunday Morning ThumbUp. It's 7:55 am and it's 48 this morning. High of 75 & Sunny. Going to try and squeeze in a ride today after football :D. Now back to my morning coffee and listen to the Sunday News. ThumbUp

Good morning everyone! Hope you have a great day..
Took a ride yesterday and ended in West Kennebunk, Maine at a Masonic Lodge bean supper..Yumm..Yumm....then went to Shaker Pond Ice Cream and we had a kitty pistachio.
Spoke to a two wheeler HD owner about his rear tire, a Michelin, which he loves and is going to put the counter part in the front. He likes them so much he is going to change the powder coated wheels so they match the black wall tires, he had white walls all around.
If this fog lifts today I may mow for the last time this year and put the riding mower away for the winter. Put the trikle charger on to save the battery during the winter months which it will sleep.
Have to start a list of trike projects to do while it sleeps during the winter months. Maybe add more LEDs to the rear of the trike, so John Luciano will say I am too bright to follow on the rides at next years NE Rally. LOL
So, ride safe today and have fun!

Well, had a great time this weekend, even if that picture Nana posted does not show it! Got a great gift from KW and Vicki, a Bee Killer. I will take a picture of it later and post it. 636 miles on this end KW, not to bad for 2 days, with sightseeing. We were out on the bike before sunrise this morning so we could get KW to Culps Hill, quite a large area to see. We left at about 10:45am to head home, had a party to attend at 2 pm. KW was going to ride the battlefield circuit but do not know if he did. I know he changed his evening plans and is only 200 miles from home at this point. They should have a great day tomorrow to finish out thier trip!

Yes Bandit we spent nearly two hours riding around in different battlefields. No way to see all of the history there in a weekend. But we sure cramed a lot in two days and had a blast doing it. Two wing trikes joined us outside of Gettysburg. 150 miles later they made a fuel stop with us. They're from Arkansas and have been on the road for over a month. Had a nice visit and parted with four more friends.

Here is the other side of the carriage

Of course, they were facing the rear end of that horse..... Love the picture! It looks like y'all had a blast.
Your pictures look great, OB, thanks for sending them :)
