Just talked to someone selling a VW trike chopper. Maybe 25 miles from my house. Has a HD Springer front end. Says it was registered in NY as a Honda. He can't explain that. He's retiring and moving to PA and has too many cars and bikes and is getting rid of stuff before move. For price he's asking, would make good backup ride since I have proven untrustworthy on 2-wheels.
Interestingly, when I told the wife, she had no objections, just wanted to know when I would get rid of 2-wheeler. Sounded like permission to proceed. Will check it out after orthopedics doc visit tomorrow.
TENNESSEE TOI CHAPTER RIDE this SATURDAY, AUGUST 17TH...Check the Thread in the RALLIES and RIDES Section for Details...Fall Creek Falls and Rock Island State Parks are included in the Ride...Hope "YOU" can make it.....ThumbUp :10:
Afternoon Rosy (and everyone else). Bad luck at Doctor. Another office that schedules 500 people for exact same time. I am told I will be waiting 1 1/2 hrs. More painful than the actual accident. That's great, you will be able to put studded tires on the VW when you head back to Maine this winter. That way you can stop at The Maine Diner and we can have dinner.
Good luck on the doctor visit.

Something is wrong with that kind of scheduling at an office!!! Bozo, you are right that it is as painful as the accident -- different kind of pain, but painful just the same!![]()
That's why they call it a "PRACTICE" they haven't gotten it right YET!!! :gah::gah:

The doc put me in hinged knee braces. Need to be "approved" for mri by some mindless bureaucrat. 2 hrs in waiting room. Went straight to look at backup VW trike. Looks good. Report elswhere.
