Left Tulsa early. Flew to Houston. Flight delayed 1 hr. While in air, holding pattern so long we had to land in Durham, NC. Running out of gas. Finally made it to NYC after 8pm. On way home now. At least I am back well in time for tomorrow's triple header softball season ender extravaganza.

Dinner tonight in Rockford,Il., at the Machine Shed! With Ray Monroe and his beautiful Kathy, what a great way to spend an eveningclapping . Had a wonderful meal, talked about the great time had in Euraka Springs, and looking forward to Ray's trip to Florida in January ThumbUp Well I'm headed down to Effingham for tomorrow.

Hi y'all. It was humid and heavily wet all day long, then suddenly the sun came out, the breeze picked up, and the humidity level dropped significantly. So now it is 80 beautiful degrees. No complaints from me!

Late afternoon check in. Had plumbers over this morning, hooking up my addition to the sewer system. Had a rough time finding the drain in the yard. Finally found it and got it connected. Tomorrow we hook up the two floor drains for both garages. I'm building the ultimate (in my eyes) garage/ great room/ master bedroom/ man cave !!! The addition is 87ft. Long. There's a 22x22 great room with full bath, kitchen. Then above that there's a master suite with full bath/ walk in closet. The first garage is 24x36 with the "man cave" above it. Then the back garage is 30x30 with 13'8" walls to allow a drive on hoist for my cars and trucks. All the floors will have radiant in floor heat. It's been on my drawing board for five years and under construction for almost three. It's been a slow beginning but we're finally making some progress. Anyway the weather has been beautiful today in the upper 70* with puffy white clouds all around. Have a great day!

Our original house is 1209 sq. ft. The addition is 2354sq.ft. So yeah it's a little bigger BUT most all of it is garage. The man cave and master bed room are jus "storage"until I get my C of O for the lower level. Our house is 30ft. wide on a 50 ft. lot. You have to be driving slowly down our road to see it!
