Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhh!!!! Back to TX next week. Because Dallas wasn't hot enough for me last week, it's now down to Houston area. And I just know a refinery won't have A/C. Hoping other company visiting does.

I have come to the conclusion there is only about a 10 days of perfect weather.
All the rest are either too hot, too cold or too wet. On Second thought, any day that
you are up right, taking nourishment and have a dollar in your pocket, is a GREAT DAY.

Yeah, it's hot in Texas, y'all. But 93* is a cool spell for us, just so you understand. It's all relative. You Yankees will cool off long before we will this fall, so we can all fuss and moan, but there'll be snow up north before we drop below 80* . . . :gah:

Found the perfect way to escape the heat wave. Emergency outside Montreal, Canada. I'm in the office on LI, but by amazing coincidence, the trike is all packed to travel SOMEWHERE. I'm on the road now just north of NYC. Need to get as close to border tonight (400 miles total distance). Just checked radar. Might be some rain North of Albany. No jacket, just my rain gear. Expect to do emergency repair in morning and head home sometime late Friday.

Leaving here in a bit and heading to Harrisburg to spend the weekend with our local HOG Chapter for our 25th Chapter Anniversary party. Should be hot and humid, so gotta get the riding done now before it hits the fans.

Ya know,,, I was just thinking about that. As a kid I can remember sweating like crazy in our apartment in Brooklyn with fans set on high in just about every room. Now I can't even imagine not having AC in this horrid weather. My trike will be on vacation inside the garage probably until the summer is over or temperatures fall into the low 80's and below. I was definitely built for the colder climates! :Shrug:
