Bandit, pack your swimmies, looks like we're going to get wet Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Bikerbozo has been doing good. We are just West of Indianapolis right now for night. Another 400 mile day maybe tomorrow and then a short 125 or so to Eureka on Sat. I think we can beat you. I'll save you a seat pool side (or umbrella side, depending on weather). Thanks KW, I do plan on leaving by 6 AM so hopefully I will get to the hotel by 5PM. Right now thundering like crazy here, no heavy downpours yet but we are forecasted to get about 2 inches of rain.
Bikerbozo you wait to long to get going, KW and I will be passing ya on the road on Saturday!!! We will spend Saturday night in Edwardsville, IL at the Comfort Inn, only about 321 miles to Eureka from there.
Ride Safe and Enjoy!
Hasn't been a real good afternoon. Nasty thunderstorm rolled through about noon today and a bolt of lightning hit close to our house. About 1:00 today I received a call from a sobbing 13 year old grand daughter. "Papaw can you come home and bury my Bristy". Appears that her 12 year old yellow lab was out in the yard when the lightning struck.
Broke her little heart and mine too when she asked me to take her to the woods and bury her deep enough that the coyotes wouldn't find her. Life is short, enjoy the ride and be thankful for each day.
