Good morning, everyone (oops - afternoon now I guess).

Leo, so sorry to hear about the cruise fiasco, but glad you're feeling better now. At least they were willing to work with everyone and offer some sort of compensation package.

And Nana - #17??!! Wow!! Not sure if I should offer congratulations or sympathy!! Congratulations, because I know you & Mike are in heaven over this, but your wallets have my deepest condolences!! ;)

By this time the wallet has been empty for a long time, Cheri, so all they expect is love. That I have an unlimited supply of!

Coolish, dreary day, so I'm brightening it up by watching the Kitten Bowl. Lots of you know how much I love animals, especially puppies and kittens, so I'm content till the big boys come to play! John's watching boxing in the den, so we're both happy!

Which team are YOU cheering for tonight? No dog in this fight - our beloved Steelers are sitting out this one!

Leo, I hate to say this, but Janice threw you under the bus! It must be a woman thing.
She said the reason you got sick and Jeanette didn't was because you didn't wash the germs off your hands while Jeanette washed her hands all the time.
Janice keeps telling me, wash your hands all the time, must be a woman thing! Men don't need to wash their hands fifty times a day. We work with dirty things, grease, dirt, rocks, grass clippings, and working on our vehicles. We can't take the time to wash after every little thing we do, no way! Right guys!!!
That's my story, and I am sticking to it!

34° and rainy here at the moment. Just checked the weather in Barbados, one of the places we'll visit on our cruise later on this month, and it makes you envious - 83°. We're going to have hand sanitizer with us ALL the time and carry wipes too, plus pack OTC meds in case we do come down with something. Missed a couple of good riding days recently due to the wife and I both coming down with sinus infections.

Think Denver will take the bowl. Seattle's offensive line seems to be an open door.

Maybe you better lay off the sauce, it is affecting your thought process ... LOL

Good day folks! Enjoying the Super Bowl...
Cheri, Thanks for the kind words. Not sure we will take Royal Caribbean up on their future cruise credits. Time will tell.
Rosy, Janice could not be more wrong. I'm the germaphobe. Believe ship did not take enough precautions initially. When they made folks wash more, disinfected all surfaces constantly, and prevented folks from touching food and utensils, then incident count went down dramatically. Say thanks to Janice for throwing me under the bus.
It's been quite a week and a half. Believe I had the norovirus that made me vomit and confined me to bed for two days. Developed lower back pain that kept me from walking around St. Thomas. Contracted a problem with my sinuses that just cleared up. I'm wiped out.

Good Morning to All.
It's 27.8* F
About 1/4" of Ice and an Inch of Snow on the Ground and Roads.
Power Lines and Trees holding despite there Icy Coating of about 1/2" or so.

Pathetic Display of Fool-Ball :censored:

Good Morning TrikeTalk!
It's 8* outside and the new to me 95 Gl1500 has been in the trailer since I brought it home on the 23rd and from the looks of the weather predictions it will be there for the rest of the week if not more. ARRRRRGGGG!!! But it is a GREAT day anyhow!!

That was the same ship we did the Trike/mc cruise on almost 2 years ago. If anything, I thought they were overboard with cleanliness. If there was even a hint of a virus, Dianne would have caught it. We even carried antibiotics just in case.
On other notes. Just squeaked out of NY as the snow was starting. Now delayed in DC on way to Pittsburg.

Andrew, That was two years ago. We also took this same cruise last March without incident. Their guard was down this time. 600-700 documented sick passengers and crew don't lie, and the CDC confirmed illness was the norovirus. Believe unsupervised free cookies in the cruise terminal and sloppy hand sanitizing enforcement at the buffet contributed to the outbreak, but we will never know the source. It was a big loss and black eye for Royal Caribbean.
