Chat Room

You guessed right Archie, partially. Vicki is driving herself to church today, I'm taking two friends over to the Roberts Center to join the Ohio Gun Collectors Association this morning. Good excuse to look for another pistol.

AH-HA..Those were the days.up early in the morning about 2AM, getting the duck boat ready with hot coffee, lunch, the decoys, the blind, the sea gull, and blue heron decoys.. Watch the morning sun rising in the East....Wishing you were home in bed, because you were so cold!!! I tell you what, I was nuts..really..really nuts!
BUT, I would do it again, when I was that age...Now, forget it..with all the restrictions, laws, and lack of ducks! So, for you hunters, bag your limit and enjoy your freedom!
Good morning all!

Regards,

Rosy & Janice

Thoughts & prayers to our friends and members in the Midwest who are enduring these tornadoes and storms. Keep yourselves and your precious families safe till all of this bizarre weather is over, and keep us posted with updates!

Keith, you and Vicki be careful! Our kids in Dayton and Columbus have told us the storm is on the way. Stay safe.

We took shelter in our sons basement. Storm passed us with minimal damage. 10 miles east of us got the worst of it.
Should die down by the time it gets to you OB. The line passed through at 65 mph, pretty ugly for 20 minutes.

Don't get on the chat room very often, but read about the weather. Tornados hit all around us. Let us out of concealed carry classes as the sirens were going off. Made it home in time to join Joan in the basement. Pray that every body is ok.

Rain was sideways for almost 30 minutes and now the stars are out. We were lucky in this area. Folks in Indiana and Illinois were hit the hardest. Saw a news clip where One whole town was destroyed.

Saw some news clips of the rough weather out your way. We are thankful you folks are OK.

So far it looks like things will "settle down" some by the time it gets to coastal NJ areas around 3-5 a.m. with wind gusts "only" 40 mph (+ or -).

Haven't ventured out past the kitchen window, but it appears that we've weathered the storm satisfactorily. I know our neighbors to the North (East in my case) didn't have power (hydro) for most of the night. I'll know more once I go out later this morning. I hope you're safe and dry in your location, I know the folks in Washington Illinois didn't fare very well. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.
Try to have a good day,
Larry in East China Mi.

The forum will be down for maintenance and upgrades tonight starting around 8 or 9 PM CST. We will be back up within a couple of hours, but for some it may be as much as 24 hours depending on your ISP's propagation times.

Checkin' in and saying hello.
I've been looking at the results of those tornados through the midwest yesterday…..Horrific! So much devastation. Six people dead, and that is so very sad, and yet when you look at the damage, it is amazing that the death toll wasn't higher.
