Changing oil

I have just had my Stallion since last fall and in the spring I plan on changing the oil before a long trip to Nova Scotia. My question is what do you recommend to get the trike up off the ground far enough to get to the oil pan plug and the oil filter. I can drive the front wheel up a ramp, but there is so much plastic in front of the rear tires a ramp does not seem to be a good answer. I was going to buy a floor jack to lift each side but all that I saw were still too tall to get under the Stallion. I was curious how you handle this problem. Thanks!

I have the low profile aluminum one from Harbor Freight. It will get under it. After it's up, I put stand jacks under it just for security. Rick

I drive the front tire up a wheel ramp and there is plenty of room. Drain plug on the right side, filter on the left side. Good luck and have a safe trip.

I have been doing same way as Tom for about eight years. I remove the drain plug and filter from the left side. If you do not own a low profile jack, you will need one at some point. The owners manual, if you have one, shows where the jacking points are.

I also do as Tom does. The Stallion has 90k on her and I've done all the oil changes every 5k. So I know it works.
