Champion Trike Triple tree

Hi, new to forum. I am looking to add 5 degree triple tree to my 2006 Road Glide with a Champion conversion and was wondering would one of the trees sold online ($700) be much different than that sold by Champion ($1100). I have a wrench who will install but is worried that fit will not be right if not sourced from Champion and require a lot of fabrication. This is figuring that the FLHT part is the same as FLTR as most ads indicate all touring except Road King.

Thank to all....

I compared the two last summer when I put my ez on. I actually like the HHI that Zook sells better than the Champion. I think it is an easier install as well. Keep in mind that Zook's kit is actually sold at a discounted rate. If mammory(memory I meant) serves-I think it is about a grand(1000.00) if purchased directly from the mfg.

Zook I deserve 1 rep point for this post-dammit!

Thanks for the info. What is the website you used, I tried zook.com.

You can purchase right here on the forum on the right side near the bottom in the sponsor ad section. "Rake Kits by Zook" There is a drop down menu where you select the rake you want and hit "Buy Now" where you may use PayPal or your credit card. If you have any questions feel free to call me. I am in the same boat with that question about my 1989 tour glide.

I sent a message to Lee H. Mann (lehman installer and dealer, member of this forum)

I am awaiting his answer.

The mann is very trike savvy and has recently kept me from making a mistake about conversion kits.

shoot me a message and i will tell you what he says.

I researched rake kits for two months, even tried to get a better deal on the HHI kit Zook is selling! There is no better price, and the kit is absolutely bolt on-matches up exactly, no drilling or fabrication involved comes with tapered bearings and fork extensions too.

I especially liked the fact that Zook is an email, or a phone call away, if I did run into problems with the install. :D

Kids today?

:D My 10 yr. old grandson was standing beside me when i opened the page.
Guess they learn allot of things in school these days, HuH!

He said: " Look at the fun bags on that hose hound!"

Gramma is after him with a bar of soap for his mouth.
I had to hide a grin, better him than me!
The apple never falls to far from the old tree?
As soon as he realized what he said out loud, the look on was face was pricless.
Every time i see that look on one of my grandkids i still want to strangle their mothers!
