Champion IRS mud flaps?

Has anyone tried to put mud flaps on a Champion IRS kit? I'm going to try but the body style isn't going to make it very easy. I like the way the body curves under but that places the edge of the body well inside the tires. I pull a SST trailer and the stones and such are really dinging up the fenders.

Can't wait for the weather to clear and stop snowing. I want to get out and ride but they use way to much salt for me to subject the bike to.

What kind of bike is your kit on? I have a GL1800 Goldwing with the IRS. We were looking at putting mudflaps on it and decided that it would require fabricating some brackets to attach to frame to hang the flaps on. Haven't done it yet. Not sure about the kit for Harleys etc.

I have a 2010 goldwing nav with a 2009 IRS kit. I'm looking at making a bracket that can bolt to the frame under the trunk. I'm also comtemplating making a real bumper that attaches to the same frame. It might require modifing the body for the supports but I want something that would protect the body if I have anything there at all.

Have you got the new zero degree knuckles and if so have you noticed much differance in the ride?
