1st new Honda since my CX650C! But not anywhere near as fun as that one was.

Hate spending money on a mower. But I did get 19 years of service out of the
last one....

First impression? Easiest starting mower I have ever owned. Real light pull on the cord and it's running.

Can it be converted to 3 wheels? LOL:xzqxz:

Hold everything - is there still time for a return?

Let's review...

  • not as much fun...
  • no electric start...
  • 4 wheels (bummer)...

Better think this over while there's still time. :D  :D

Those small Honda Engines are pretty damned impressive.
Got a new Husqvarna last month with the Honda 160cc self priming/choking Engine and you are right. Easiest pull and fires up on first pull EVERY time.
More than enough Oomph too.
Wife just Loves it :D
Always been a Kohler Man (some Briggs too) but must admit so far this little Honda kicks Butt and lives up to its Rep and then some.

Congrats on your new "Metric" ThumbUp
Maybe your Wife will love it too ;)

Thanks Fuzzy! She was 19 when I met her. I was a promotable E5 in the Army. She was an E8's daughter. Army life was normal for her.

So, a few years back, my wife and I were taking turns cutting the front grass. She would do a few rows, then my turn. While she was doing her turn and I was sitting on the front steps watching, the mailman drives up and looks at me apparently doing nothing while she is cutting the grass. He smiles as if to say you gotta good deal... I told him you gotta train them properly when they're pups.... :D  :D  ...after he left, it was my turn again. (bummer)

If only. She has not cut a blade of grass in the 30 years we have been married.

My wifes annual spring time vow is to learn to run our (my) tractor. I've been waiting for 36 years for that to actually happen. She has STARTED to learn how to run it a couple of times, but "This is complicated" is the way it usually ends after about a minute of telling her how to start it. I've told her numerous times that 12 year old boys do it all the time, but that falls on deaf ears. She really has zero desire in cutting our 5 acre lawn, but she fakes interest doing it none the less. God I love that woman.

Same with mine on our John Deere X530. She will try and shovel the entire drive rather than use the JD with blower on it.
