Black Painted Engine

Does anyone know how to keep a black painted engine looking like new. Bought a new Harley fat bob and gave the triglide to the wife. Alot of the engine is painted black and I would to keep it looking that way. Some people said to spray it with WD-40 or silicone

S-100 had a product called "engine bright". Harley recently bought that particular product and packaged it in a bigger Harley labeled product. It will keep the engine black and I use it in my detailing business. It comes in a spray can with a pin-point spray extender scotch-taped to the can. Any grey bits or fading will be restored to a black finish and it is heat resistant to a very high temperature. Hope this helps.

Do not get paste wax on the black wrinkled paint! It is a PITA to remove! S-100 works fine on keeping it fresh, but use sparingly.
