I am looking for some information about hotels in Birmingham near the Barber Motorsports Track. I am planning on attending the Vintage motorcycle races in October with the possibility of some other members of the GWRRA coming with me. I checked the Hampton Inn next to the track and they are already booked up which I expected.
Can anybody give me some information about the other Hampton Inns in the area? I don't know the area well enough to know what areas are safe and what areas I wouldn't want to park my trike in. The Hampton Inns where I don't know the area are in, Fultondale, Trussville, Mountain Brook, Airport area, and 280 East Eagle Point. I am not locked into Hampton Inns but they are generally clean and reasonably quiet and that keeps my wife happy.
Thanks Steve

I suggest you go to Tripadvisor.com and search hotels in Birmingham. Sort the results according to ratings and you should be good to go. We use it a lot to find good and reasonable hotels and restaurants.

Don't know about B'ham Hotels these days.
But, mostly definitely you gotta hit a Milo's for some awesome Burgers and brown-sugar sweet Tea ThumbUp

I would try to stay east of Barbers ,,Anniston , maybe Pell City Fultondale would be good but a little far from Barbers . Birmingham would be the closest but I'd have problems sleeping without being concerned with my bike .:AGGHH:

Thanks for the replies. I will check out trip advisor and see how they are rated. I just thought I would get a more honest response from the members of the forum about leaving their motorcycles out. I don't worry about the location as much when I am in the car. I will look to the east slick rick. I am not too concerned about the distance as long as it is safe and within reason.
