Big Newbie Questions

I’ve rode motorcycles all my life. Had a bad work accident and was told I would never ride again. Had numerous surgeries over the last 5 years, and I’ve been cleared to ride a trike. Test rode a Honda VTX 1300R with a voyager conversion kit the other day. It was a beast to steer (hard to turn handles). Wife was on the back & we aren’t exactly small people...both over 200lbs. Is this normal? Any suggestions to make it better?

Rich, Welcome to Trike Talk

Riding and steering a trike you will be using your upper body to push and pull the steering. Once you get use to it it will be memory muscle. Get a hold of Randy AKA Papa Zook the owner of this forum for a rake kit for your trike, it will make it feel like power steering

rick welcome the lack of rake is the issue. If you have not purchased the 1300 I would suggest looking at a trike that has rake. You also could install a rake kit on the 1300 but you will find a trike will be a nicer ride.
