To those of you with a GW/Motor Trike/aqua shields and are considering installing a belly pan -PAY SOMEONE TO DO IT! Seriously though, I had to remove 3 of the 4 bolts holding the shield on the left side and the same on the right plus I had to remove the support brackets on the right. The bolts on the front of the shields are really hard to get to, so I didn't remove them. After all that, I was able to install the pan fairly easily. I haven't gotten the front part of the pan on, it looks like I will need to modify it to make it fit. The install would be simple without the aqua shields in place. <br />

On the '09 GW 1800 CSC with ground effects looks like it would be the same problem. Any one put the pan on a CSC with ground effects? ( NOT HAD IT DONE ) but put them on yourself.

Cut a slot in the belly pan, then you will not need to remove the bolts.
It is a lot easier if the trike is on a hoist but it can be done on ramps.
