I have a 2014 Goldwing Motor Trike Razor. I bought the belly pan and read some where that it took like 15 minutes. Well not when you have running boards. What a pain, took me a couple of hours.

Had to take out some running board bolts to pry them away from the cowl to get at those nuts. When I got those loose, also had to really pry the gray cowl side to get the belly pan in under the screws.

Just have the larger belly pan on to protect the Coolant tank. Could not use the front part of the pan because of the brackets for the running boards. I love the running boards, but holy cow, they are a pain to work around.

I was able to get my trike off the ground. No jacks, I bought 4 ramps and used 3 and just drove the tike on the ramps. Was pretty easy. I will use that to change the oil one day as well.

Don't have running boards to deal with, but like your 3 ramp idea, Show a pic of that for us.ThumbUp

I didn't have any problem installing belly pan on my Roadsmith with running boards. Running boards in no way interfere with the installation of belly pan or removing the front portion of the belly pan to perform oil and filter changes.

Sorry you had such a battle.

Mine have large cross support brackets front and back going all the way across. My running boards can take standing on any part of them. There was no way to put the front of the pan on that covers the oil filter.

I made 3 ramps and did the same thing to elevate the trike and keep it level for oil changes. I had to elevate it since triking it because my oil pan wouldn't fit after easy steer conversion.

Id like to know what ramps you used too.
I had a heck of a time just getting the front end off the ground enough to even use a cut down antifreeze jug as a drain pain.
I have about 2 - 3 inches of ground clearance up front.

Found a really low profile oil drain pan

Forgive me, for I have sinned......I went to my local hog dealer and bought an HD oil drain pan. About two (2) inches tall. Works great under my Motor Trike Razor with ez rake...... and unlike their other boutique stuff, no HD logo ('cept for the orange "cap".

I Bought 4 Rhino Ramps from Walmart. I think they were like $43 a pair. They work perfect.

I also have a belly pan now on two wheels until I get my Roadsmith converted soon.
I don't anticipate any troubles but reading here there might be down the road.

I'm thinking if my pan I use to collect the oil will fit underneath, wouldn't jacking up just the two back tires help
when draining the oil?

Mybellypan went on easily on my CSC Viper. However on my friend Motor Trike we had to cut away part of the front to make it work but after a little time and work we got it on and does not look too bad and work well.

It helps a little. But not much.

Yes, I have the Motor Trike Razor and it has load bearing braces that prevent the front part of the pan from going on. I'll have to get it up on the ramps when I change the oil and see if I can cut come away part of the front pan to make it work.
