Has anyone used Bad Roses products, they have a LED Headlight Bulb that will fit a Triglide, the bulb puts out 1650 Lumens but I don't know how that compares to Harley or an auto bulb since I can't find the output of those bulbs???

I think the bulb cost about $80.00

Sounds a little weak to me. One place I strongly suggest that you don't scrimp on is your headlight. You need to be seen. The brighter the better.

:Agree:I couldn't agree more. Nothing ruins your day more than having soccer mom or granny turn in front of you because they don't see you.

I did a quick search and found that most standard headlights produce between 1000 and 3000 lumens. I just replaced mine with CIPA Spectras Xenon H7 Ultra-White Halogen Headlight Bulbs from Walmart at $9.21 for two bulbs. They are very bright at 1300 lumens. Not sure about a Harley bulb but 1800 Goldwing uses standard H7 bulbs. Not sure I would want to spend $80 for one bulb.

Thanks for the info.

I'm glad to see they are putting good lights on the Triglides this year and a few other models. My old FatBoy could hardly lite the road in front of the front tire! In my opinion, if they have better bulbs, they need to go on the bikes from the factory. If it is a safety issue they owe it to their customers instead of charging $800-1,100 after market.
