Backup Lights

Nope, but I imagine one could be just tied into the Reverse motor.
Personally, I like to go "Beep, beep beep" as I back up. Even got the missus doing it sometimes!:Joker3:

Not quite backup lights, But on the Can Am Spyder when it's put in reverse' the 4 ways turn on automatically.

It couldn't be that Oldmsocko has old-m-eyes, could it? I gave up night riding a few years ago when my depth perception at night went bad.

I'm in the middle of getting "cadillac" surgery. Had the left eye done a couple of weeks ago, and the right eye is scheduled for 11-30.

I guess it will be the middle of January before things settle down enough that I can get new glasses.

As it is, I can wear my current glasses and mostly see out of my right eye or no glasses at all and mostly see out of my left eye.

The surgery itself was a breeze, but the transition time is a PIA.

I guess that's something I have to look forward to.....argg! Thanks for the info!

My 1999 Road King with a champion trike kit has backup lights as well as a beep beep , these both activate when reverse is engaged. backup lights are a legal requirement here in the Land of OZ ( Australia), although the beep beep is not a legal requirement and I disconnected it as my wife would laugh at me every time I put the trike in reverse.

The original backup light was just a licence plate light , but that did not meet our Australian design rules , so I fitted a small driving light, so I passed registration and engineering requirements, then went back to the licence plate light as it was smaller and neater just under the bodywork of the trike.
