Triking Trikes GL1800 conversion is reasonably priced and has most of what I seem to want. I sent them a note and they will need my bike for 6 weeks to do the conversion and that is a bit of an issue but I am think about them at this point or at least looking for more info. Anyone have any?

I built my champion 1800 from the ground up in 2 weeks of evenings while working full time for the City so 6 weeks sounds ridiculous to me!!!!! I had my dealer who works out of his home install an Easy Steer front end and he only had my bike for three days and he works full time also!! Jerr!!

George I have a TriKing kit on my 1500. They have installers as the man I bought mine from had his done in Indiana tho he lived in Okla. I guess that was closer than Fla. I like the fact that they kept ( at least on the 1500) the air system and tied it into the ALS that they use. Mine was done in 06 and seems to have held up well.Fit and finish is good and the fiberglass seems thick and consistant and hasn't cracked. The fenders are bolt on so if you trash one you don't have to buy a whole body. You might ask them for a dealer closer to you.

The list is there Paul... down the page "click here for a location near you". None are particularly close.

Well Colorado is closer than Florida:Shrug: Bummer.I was sure with all the riders in Texas and for as long as they have been in business they would have an installer in Texas.

I know nothing about Triking but I do know that if i should have a problem I don't want to ride or haul it halfway across the US to get the installer to fix it.

6 weeks is WAAYY too long! With Roadsmith, if you schedule it in advance, they will have your bike out in a DAY! Most places say one to two weeks.. Question I'd ask: Why so long for an install??
