Announcing the birth of Nana's new baby!

OPPS, did not finish. I believe the VROD makes the sportist looking trike of any bikes out there. Obviouly Hannigan did a beautiful job on it. CONGRATS and enjoy.

Wow!!!! Nice color nice style, my favorite Harley water cooled, and I D rear. Wish I could be there to see itin person.

;)Well Nana...what can I say.... She is a real head turner, has it got a nice grunt from the engine?
Anyway..who's arm did you twist to get such a beast???LOL
Let us know when you are roadtesting so we can get out of the way....
Take care

Today the temperatures not only got above freezing, they hit the mid 40s...... YAY!!!! So I bundled up, climbed aboard, and took the new baby out for a first ride.

Simple ride review of the V-Rod with Hannigan kit: AWESOME! :10:
A little more detail: Very smooth. Very eye catching, judging from the swiveling heads of construction workers and drivers we passed. Very spunky---In fact, I can see I may be getting on my husband's nerves, as I am pretty darn sure I'll be easily leaving him in my dust from a dead stop. LOL!

What does she still need: Actually, I knew about all four of these items from the beginning, but they didn't have to be completed before the kit was installed and Mike and I can work on them in the coming weeks.
  • A windshield was a must, and we installed the detachable windshield and pouch this morning. So that one is checked off.
  • I need the handlebars pulled back about 2" to be really comfortable long term. Unfortunately, the V-rod bars are all one piece, so just installing the pullbacks won't work, but I've already arranged for a custom fabricator locally to make me some that are positioned just right for my small frame.
  • I am really used to using a heel shift, and the V-rod has just foot pegs and a toe shift. I'll be changing those out for a universal floor board set and the heel/toe mechanism.
  • The front wheel will be replaced with a chrome one to complement the chrome rear wheels in the near future.

Apart from those few items...... AWESOME! This is going to be a great summer of riding, I can tell. :D

 report on your new ride! Now comes the real spending. Mods, Mods, Mods! Not laughing at you, just right along side of ya!

I assume you saw the ride report a couple of posts back, Joan. It was great despite the chilly air! :)

That sure is a purdy thang, and I cant think of anyone more deserving. Mike you did good.

First this is Mike speaking

Thanks CC but this was all her, I can't take any credit for any part of this. Not a bit.

Of course it was my idea, but don't tell Nana.

Also don't tell her I am typing under her log in.
