Time again to tap into the knowledge base:
I need to show my route on a map and have an animated point following the route. Something simple that I can use on an iMac. I just want to record the screen and show the long distance routes I ride. I have used Harley Ride Planner and recorded the screen as I preview the route and move the slider with my mouse, but it's a little bit wonky. There is a program out there called "Relive", but it's a subscription thing and I think you need to have it GPS-d to a phone and it tracks you as you ride. Google maps will not do it, Garmin basecamp will not do it.
I just want to make a quick route animation that I can insert into an iMovie and Youtube.
I don't really do it enough to justify buying a program and I'm not making any money from it, so the math is simple. Thanks for helping. I miss riding.:Trike1:
