A 2005 came in yesterday for tires and an oil change. The owner recently bought it. On its first test ride, I returned telling my Tech that the tranny shifts where extreemly bangy, and I kept waiting for it to hiccup in 5th ... but it never did. As it turned out, the oil was extreemly black, and only 2 qts drained out. With new oil and full, it shifts completly different and normal. This guys gonna leave thinking he has a new m/c.

This is the exact reason why that I'm an oilchangeOHLIC...............I believe in clean oil ~n~ filter 100% of the time.....

Thank you Gregg for post'n this, you make me proud to do oil changes more often than not..........

I just purchased a 2005 Goldwing trike last week and in 2 days purchased oil and a filter... The previous owner "thought" the oil change was only 2K ago but it might have been over a year ago so I took care of that and now I have a record! Seems to shift smoother now also.
