Not my mind, I lost that a long time ago.
I am talking about my drive shaft. Today I had the oil in the differential changed and while the mechanic was changing it he noticed two of the three bolts that connect the drive shaft to the block missing. The 3d bolt was just hanging by a thread. He replaced the two bolts and tightened the 3d.

I was really lucky. When have you serviced or had the undercarriage of your trike inspected?

They also greased the two fittings so the axle splines have fresh grease.

How old is the conversion?
Did you talk to whoever did the conversion about this?
What was the response?
Finding this would be very upsetting, to say the least.
You are blessed it didn't let go at crusing speed, in the middle of no where, 2,000 miles from home!

Ditto to that! Think I will be looking under mine before I ride again.

This was found yesterday by a mechanic when the trike was having the differential oil changed. The trike has only 22, 240 miles on it and should not have required the oil to be changed until 35,000 miles, but due to it throwing oil I had this done. So glad I did.

The trike was built in Nov 05. It is a 06 champion conversion # 708801. I write this as anyone else having a trike converted around that time may want to check the undercarriage very closely.
