I have just purchased a 2011 TriGlide and am in the process of making it mine. I installed the HD siren from my 2009 FLHT and now the siren goes off when I touch the clutch. I installed the siren with the main fuse out. I have a new battery in the fob. When I turn the ignition on every thing is fine until I pull the clutch, then the siren goes off when I release the clutch the siren quits. If I do not touch the clutch and turn the ignition off I get 2 chirps like I did on the 09. Help!!

I'm not sure but does the ECM have to be re-programed for the siren to work? Or is there a mod that you can read in that so that it will work correctly? Check the manual and see if there is something that needs changing. The siren in an option to the security system so I expect there is something that has to be done for the system to know it's there. Tomorrow I can get to my manuals and see if I see anything.

Are you doing this while it's in gear? Do you get the single disarm chirp when turning it on?

I am not getting the one chirp upon turning the ignition on. I am getting two chirps when I turn the ignition off and I depart. I am starting it in neutral.

Put it in 1st gear and rock it to make sure its in gear, then turn the ignition on to see if you get the chirp. If you get the chirp then see if you can put it in neutral and pull in the clutch without it going off. The earlier smart siren treats the Triglide like a 2 wheeler with a side car.

Ok, I did this. I put in into first gear then turned the ignition on and I got a chirp. I was then able to put in neutral and crank the bike without the siren going off. When I turned the ignition off and tried to start it in neutral I was back to square one. Does this mean I have to get it reprogrammed at the dealership or purchase a later model siren? Thanks for your help on this, I really appreciate it. This has been driving me crazy.

As Fuzzy said, check with the dealer. The way I told you is how my dad's is to this date, its been that way since brand new. The 2010 Triglide I had also was that way, my dad and I both grew used to just doing it that way.
