This is all left overs from a previous forum I helped to restore the self help section for. If any one needs any info contact me and I will make all efforts to get the info to u

Please pardon my confusion, Jack, but could you be a little more specific on the "self help" info? Is it the personal growth, quality of life enhancement, self-actualization type information, or technical, DIY, how-to instruction? And if so, on what?

May I suggest giving him the same honor as Goldwingrgreg, as he too has good info to share and I remember his posts from the HD forum that I belong to and I can vouch for it.

Thank you Trike Lady

It is all about keeping our rides well maintained IMO and I have alot of info saved including my own wrenching ideas to share

You're welcome.

I share as much as I can with others. God gave it to me and I am only the keeper of the information.

I very rarely visit that forum, as a Goldwing person I felt like the square peg in the round hole.

I participate in 6 Goldwing forums, 2 I visit every now and then and 2 others I view. 3 trike forums and a CX/GL forum.

I moderate 3 Goldwing forums and 2 trike forums. I am the lone moderator on the F6B/Goldwing forum and growing that forum for Motorcycle.com.

God gives us things to do. July 27, 2016 I suffered a stroke and it is almost a year since that happened. It was very sad to view a forum and be unable to help others and also very frustrating, as I knew the answer to the question but the info in my brain wasn't presenting itself. Sometimes it just takes a little longer to process the question but the answer arrives. :D

Thank you for your input and keep that mind busy.

That explains your sudden absence from here. I remember seeing you post often, then suddenly nothing. I thought maybe somebody either got on your nerves, or you just had better things to do. So sorry I didn't have the presence of mind to check up on you. You were one of the first to post in the original iteration of the Late Nighters thread. Hope to see you back there. We ain't just about late nights anymore.

It was quite a mess, my blood pressure went sky high and I lost the ability to speak. Sad thing is it happened in the women's homeless shelter and they weren't too swift. The hospital was trying to get my BP down and when they finally got it down I was given a prescription for meds and about two weeks later I sneezed and felt something odd in my nose and it was a blood clot the size of a quarter. Sad part was the hospital ran no tests to see if there was any blockage in the brain or administered clot busting drugs. Bad thing was the shelter doesn't know how to handle older adults or have resources for them and so they treat you like one of the local druggies.

After I had suffered the stroke and was trying to get my life somewhat normal, I still wasn't functional mentally and they put me in a rooming house/ drug flop house where I had to deal with constant stealing, cops and druggie pals. The counselor at the homeless shelter made me sign a lease for the room, full well knowing I could not make a rational decision and told me everything would be taken care of until October 2016 and I'd have to go elsewhere. I had it all in writing and when they tried to back out I contacted a local judge and told the judge of my circumstances.

The stroke took away peripheral vision from my right eye and I cannot drive, now I walk or use public transportation.

I have been a resident of Ohio since October 2016. My life is in God's hands since the stroke took me out of circulation and now I let him guide me, whatever his plans are he will reveal them to me in his time.

Sorry for hi-jacking Jacks thread.

I just hope you're continuing to do better. I'll say a prayer or two about you.

I was at Wyotech at that time and I think the members from the HD Forum met at Cracker Barrel.

I just hope you're continuing to do better. I'll say a prayer or two about you.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Little by little things return and that's good. If it weren't for the forums and communicating with others I may not have recovered as fast. It has been almost a year since it hit me and trust me I don't want another one.
