Hi all; was asked by a friend of mine if I could give a ride on the back of a trike to an elderly (80 something) chap he knows.
So I went down country at lunchtime to pick him up; his children and grandchildren were there to watch so I hid the chicken with the bitten-off head and put me false teeth in, combed me hair...
Told him before we set off to thump me on the shoulder or get me in a headlock if anything troubled him 'cos I probably wouldn't hear him scream, he laughed, seriously, he did.
Right, off we go. Few gentle miles round the beautiful South Shropshire countryside, he seemed happy so I picked up the pace a bit, then a bit more. Arrived back both of us grinning and he bought me a pint. What more fun could be had on a nice afternoon (without getting locked up)?
Cheers,
Pete
