I am starting a new post.I just put a 5 to 4 wire converter on my trike ,to pull my camper.I am not completely satisfied with how it is working. With the brake lights on and a signal light on,the signal it hard to see.It works good without brakes applied ,or rather brake lights on. I am thinking of going back to 5 wire design and changing the lights on the camper or just adding signal lights to what I have.Any thought?

I have had no problems with Hopkins 5/4 converter
After some trouble shooting.my 5 to 4 converter is working as it should. The problem is the cheaper RV style lights on the camper. In the darkness of the garage they are work ok,and I pulled the lens cover off so I could see the bulb.It is working fine. The lights are just not bright enough in the sun light to realy show up as I would like.I ordered new LED stop, tail, and signal lights. This should solve my problem.
