Wire Diagram 2005 Goldwing Trunk.

My trunk does not release when the remote button is push need wireing diagram going to the trunk release.

Catfish if you PM your email I'd be happy to scan & email the schematics I have for a 2006 wing. I doubt there will be much if any difference from 06 to 05.

1 st Step in the manual says to replace the battery. If that doesn't fix it, go to your service manual and rewrite the transmitter code. Beyond that I will need to email you the 10 pages out of the schematics.

The Trunk remote works fine locks the trunk, release the trunk,lights flash on and off,the trunk does not pop open as it should.

If I'm understanding your post the remote unlocks but the trunk just sits there. That is what mine does too and as far as I can tell that is all it is supposed to do. There are no springs to "pop" the trunk open. All the remote does is activate the levers under the trunk. If the trunk is "locked" all it does is disengage the levers under the trunk.

Mine does the same thing. When the lock releases, the trunk lid just sits in the same position. It doesn't rise. All I do is pull the lever under the trunk raise the lid at that point.

Nope doesn't pop-open, mine never did. You still open the tour box with the lever under the tour box as always. The remote only locks and unlocks!!
